What Does It Check?
Label-to-part match
Compares the scanned label against the part itself, so a mislabelled item is caught before it ever reaches the box.
Set completeness
Checks that every part belonging to a set is actually on the bench. A set that looks finished but is missing an item does not pass.
Final pre-shipment check
Runs immediately before the parts go into the shipping box — the last gate before the order leaves for the customer.
How It Works
Barcodes are scanned
The operator scans the barcodes of the parts going into the set, one by one. This tells the station what the box is supposed to contain.
Parts are placed on the bench
The scanned parts are placed on the station's inspection bench. No change to the line layout and no special fixture is required.
The analysis is triggered
The operator presses the analyse button. The check depends on one button rather than on the operator's eye, so the same criteria apply on every shift.
The camera compares parts against barcodes
The station camera images the parts on the bench and uses AI-supported image processing to judge whether they match the barcodes that were scanned.
Approval is given and recorded
On a match the station approves and the parts go into the shipping box. On a mismatch — or low confidence — approval is withheld, and the decision is stored with its image record.
