AI AUTOMATION
AI Agent Development
AI agents that do more than chat: they connect to your systems, read email, pull data from the ERP, prepare quotes and put them up for your approval.
Overview
A chatbot answers a question; an AI agent does the work. An AI agent is software that decides which steps to take towards a goal and carries them out on your own systems: it reads the incoming email, finds the customer in the ERP, checks stock and price, drafts the quote and puts it up for your team's approval. At MountainTech+ we build agents on large language models, connected to your business's own tools: ERPs such as Logo, Mikro and Netsis, email, WhatsApp, marketplaces and your own databases. On critical steps the agent does not decide, it proposes; approval, limits and logging are designed in from the start. Our email robot, quotation automation and digital assistant products are agents built the same way, and your custom agent is built on that experience.
How It Works
Task Definition
Together we pin down the work the agent will take on, the systems it will use, its decision limits and the measure of success.
Tool Connections
We set up the ERP, email, WhatsApp and database connections the agent needs, with only the permissions it needs.
Supervised Trial
The agent first works on real tasks in suggestion mode; your team approves every step and errors are corrected.
Live Use
Steps that have earned trust are automated, critical ones stay behind approval. The agent's workload and errors are monitored regularly.
Key Capabilities
Connected to Your Systems
The agent connects to your ERP, email, WhatsApp and databases through defined tools and APIs, and can only do what you allow.
Works With Human Approval
Critical steps such as quoting a price or opening an order wait for your approval. Every step the agent takes is logged and traceable.
Measurable Workload
The target is clear from the start: how many emails, quotes or requests. You track the work the agent takes on, and its errors, from a dashboard.
What an AI Agent Can Do
Quotes and Orders
It reads the request, finds the customer and products in the ERP, gathers price and stock, and prepares a quote or order draft for approval.
Email and Request Handling
It classifies incoming email, routes it to the right person, drafts replies to routine messages and records the needed data in your systems.
Customer Service Agent
On your website and WhatsApp it does more than answer questions: it checks order status, books appointments, records requests and hands over to your team when needed.
Document Reading and Data Entry
It extracts information from invoices, delivery notes and order forms, checks it and enters it into the ERP or the relevant table.
Reporting and Internal Queries
It answers questions such as "which product had the most returns last month?" on company data, and prepares and sends regular reports on its own.
An Alternative to RPA
Where classic RPA bots break when a screen changes and rules are hard to write, it offers flexible automation that understands text and context.
Frequently Asked Questions
What is the difference between an AI agent and a chatbot?
A chatbot answers questions. An AI agent works step by step towards a goal: it pulls information from your systems, makes decisions, opens records and prepares documents. A chatbot is a front end; an agent is software doing the work behind it.
What happens if the AI agent makes a mistake?
That is why agents are designed with limited permissions and approval steps. Hard-to-reverse actions such as quoting prices, payments or orders wait for human approval. Every step is logged, so the cause of an error can be traced.
Which systems can it connect to?
ERPs such as Logo, Mikro and Netsis, email, WhatsApp Business, marketplaces, e-invoicing services and any system with a REST or SOAP API. For systems without an API, database or file-based connections can be set up.
Should we use an AI agent instead of RPA?
If the process is fully rule-based and the screens never change, classic automation is enough and cheaper. If there are free-text emails, documents in varying formats or requests open to interpretation, an AI agent fits better. In most projects we use both together.
Is our data sent to the AI model?
The agent has to see the data its task needs, but which data goes to which service is decided up front. Sensitive data can be masked, and where necessary models running on your own infrastructure are used. The setup is designed around data protection requirements.
